Halloween Night

On 31st October 2015 we had our 8th Anniversary of the company and my new workplace. That shall explain why I didn't update much on the blog which is such a shame. I was a newbie for about two weeks but I was invited for the dinner and everyone needed to do performances. The best of all I was honored to do it solo! (great...just great *sigh)

The occasion took place in Shangri-La Hotel at Jalan Sultan Ismail. We gathered there around 8pm. The decorations were simple yet pretty. Besides, it was a small and private party dinner.

Gift sections for lucky draws, awards and for the VIPs.

Dinner table layout.

Noticed this beautiful and fresh roses on the table. I thought they were fake but they were real flowers!

I was offered wine but I don't drink and left it nicely on the table but that fruit punch drink was so tasty! It was mixed fruits juice with watermelons and else (which I couldn't quiet figure lol).

We were served by eight coursing for our meals. So let's start.

1. Shangri-La Four Hot Dish Combination.
It was so delicious! Seafood & sushi are always a plus to me.

2. Braised Shredded Abalone with Seafood Broth
The soup was like most of Chinese soup which had plain and simple taste. However the seafood broth really makes the difference as it tasted just nice! I can have this whole day for like a year of raining days or for sick days.

3. Miso Glazed Cod Fish.
I have to say this was the best meal of all. It was perfect. The flesh was soft and tender. The sauce was great and top up the excellent combination!

4. Buttered Prawns.
This dish was yummy but I had tasted better buttered prawn so I think this was just an average.

5. Lamb Chop with Garlic Mash Potatoes.
The meat were soft and tender. I don't like veggies but they were softly steamed cook and I just had to taste them and yes, no regret at all. Yums! Too bad I don't eat lamb meat so I just took a bite or two and later asked for the next course. But for all lamb chop lovers this course was really good!

6. Poached Broccoli with Black Mushrooms, Dried Scallop
This was so me in one dish. They put all my favorites in one dish! I love love mushrooms because they taste like chicken meet to me. And broccoli? Perfecto mi amor!

7. Fried Rice with Assorted Vegetables and Shredded Barbecue Chicken.
The name is a hell long but it looked just normal fried rice to me. It was nicely cooked and you can tasted the veggies were very fresh. But I had tasted better so this one is slightly above average.

There was no pictures of the next coursing because of full memory T-T.

8. Deep-fried Sesame Dumpling.
This one was just okay but it was too oily for me.

And for the cordial punch I just had tea and a piece of cake.

I love how lighting can change the mood. Made it more romantic.

I did sang a song for my solo performance. It was bad and I was damn nervous on that stage. Not because I was a stage freak but because I wasn't good at singing T.T. Anyway, I had so much fun and really enjoyed the night though it ended almost 3am.

Parking rate was RM12 before midnight. Since we finished at 3am we got a stamp which prove we only had to pay for the flat rate. Or else it probably could reached up to RM30++.

A night wasn't complete without a selfie. So here is our group selfie to call it a night!

Mimi's Engagement

On August 8th, Mimi (my cousin) who is as the same age as me got engaged! I was so excited but I went there a bit late due to some works and only managed to snap a few pictures. I worn a very old Baju Kurung because I decided to use it after a long time and luckily still could fit it. We went to Yana's (his fiance) house after Zohor around 3pm by four cars. It wasn't far somehow. We called it 'Cinta Satu Lorong Je'.

These are the hantaran from Mimi which to be send to Yana and her family. We used brown as for the theme.

After we reached there, some discussion on setting for the marriage date and a bit of prayer for a smooth occasion.

Yana's hantaran used green for the theme. Everything looked pretty and cute. I love it.

After 20 mins of discussion finally they were engaged!!

Love the detailing there though green is not my color but it looked good on her.

Grandma & Yana & Mak Ngah (Mimi's mother).

After that we were treated lunch with various delicious food such as roti canai, roti jala, nasi ayam , deserts and many more!

Emptied Product September 2015

I'm back with used products. It's not new products in the market but I just switched to these a few months ago. For your information, I'm not a type of person who like changes so I normally stick to what works for me for a while until I get bored.

  • For hair products, I switched from L'Oreal into Herbal Essence. Both products do excellent work for my hair but the smell from Herbal Essence Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner are stronger that can last longer on my hair.
  • This product really works best whenever I blow my hair. Lucido Designing Aqua Hair Blow Lotion saves me a lot of time because I just can use low heat dry blow and the hair will cooperate to give the desire look. Plus it protects my hair from heat.

  • Syahirah Krim Pelembab Muka doesn't work well for me. It is supposedly for oily skin but when I apply this it makes my skin twice oily and sticky than before. Not gonna repurchase this for sure.
  • I have a lot of white shirts/blouse/top. So I always have trouble with deodorant as it leaves stain on the clothes. So Nivea Invisible For Black & White Deodorant has finally become my favorite. The scent is a little bit softer compared to other Nivea deodorants.
  • The reason why I buy this Adidas Fizzy Energy perfume is because it blends well after I took my shower or after my work out. It gives out the fresh scent. For Enchanteur Paris Mon Amie perfume, I like the sweet scent and it is perfect for work and girls night out. But the bottle shape is not much of my liking and it takes more space of my purse/ small hand bag.
  • Disney Eskulin Hand Sanitizer Blue smells so nice and it got little beads that melt on your palms while keeping my hands clean.

  • I tried this Essence Multi Action Blackest Black mascara and it is just 'okay' because after few hours the mascara tend to smudge and mess with my eyes make up.
  • Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express mascara is the boom girl. Makes my eyes pop out and flirty with those eyelashes.
  • This Essence Sun Club Black eyeliner is another 'just okay' product. Easy to apply because it is a pen eyeliner but it smudges after a few hours.
  • Silkygirl Eyebrow Brown Colour Pencil last long and I don't have much trouble with it except I can get it out from the cap any more.
  • Elianto  Absolutely Resistance Black Liquid Eyeline worth to repurchase as it last long and doesn't smudge. Plus the brush makes it easier to apply on the eyelids.
  • I like this Elianto Lip Gloss in the shade of Shea Butter because it makes my lip from drying. The nude shade makes it looks natural yet sexy. Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm works best when I'm about to go to bed or whenever I wake up. It makes my lips really soft.

  • Last but not least I just wanna share my favorite mints. I like the Eclipse Papermint Mints but it is a pricier than the other two.

That's all for my emptied products. Thank you so much for reading!

Wani's Engagement

On August 2nd, I was invited for my best friend's wedding. I thought I couldn't make it because I  already had made a new plan but later I thought it only happened once of everyone's life time mostly. Since I didn't know her house location I followed Mila who's also my best friend aka Wani's make up artist for the engagement. I was so excited and to be honest this was my first time attending an engagement ceremony in my life.

Mila's 'tools' in making the make over. What I did was giving comments and ate the cakes given by Wani's mother and sipping the syrup drink.

Her dress was so beautiful with details of beads. The soft brown color really compliment her skins.

Mila was giving her last touch. Here's a little bit about her make up. I like how she applied foundation color that blended well with the skin tone. It made the make up look so natural and pretty. She likes to focus on the eyes and completed it with soft lips color. Make up should enhance your face and skin instead of making you look completely a different person with thick & 'cake' make up which is not much of my liking.

This soft pink flowers went perfectly with the dress and there were customized by her aunt! So creative.

The bridal bed or pelamin was simple with white background and a little soft color such as purple, pink, peach and such to make it more dreamy.

These are hantaran from the Wani's side. Using the same theme color as her dress. 7 trays altogether included cupcakes, Ferraro Roche, fruits, sejadah and many more.

These are from her fiance's side. Using red as his theme. 5 trays altogether and I like the flowers with daun sireh.

This was the moment when she was officially engaged to her fiance. I could tell that she was so nervous and it was so overwhelming. She had just completed her first stage of getting into her marriage chapter.

You have to show off the rings somehow.

Picture of future husband and wife.

Wani and Mila.

Wani and me. One thing I hate taking pic with petite person is I will look like a giant. Thanks genes!

Wani and Kak Jascelina. Glad that she could make it to the ceremony!

For those who are interested of getting Mila's service in make up. You can contact her in Facebook through this Mila Buyung . She is friendly and very skillful with make up and the best part is the price is so reasonable! Make sure to check out her works in her album.

Thanks!

Royal Floria Putrajaya 2015 Part 2

Part 1 is here.

After we had our lunch we took a stroll around the area. We decided to go Chinese Theme plant decoration first. This was the map for us to discover.

The Chinese Theme Park was a bit far behind near the river. However, we didn't bother walking a bit as we enjoyed the beautiful view and the bridge as for the background.

Found a smaller photo booth and took a lot of  we-fie here and there.

This was the main entrance of the Chinese Theme Park. We had to take turns for pictures as there were many people took pictures too.

However there was not much for us to discover as the place was so small and not much variations of plants planted there. There was a small pond that consist of cute small goldfish that added the landscape of the park. Tried to snap it but pictures don't do much justice.

As I told earlier the weather was very hot but we were lucky that the place was only minor crowded compared to the late evening. Hence we took a rest under this kind of bamboo trees I think.

After we had done, we were thirsty and went for coffee break near the river. There were many seats for us to choose.

We bought our drink at this KopieSatu Truck.

We ordered iced coffees which were so sweet to our liking. I think blended coffees would taste better than the regular iced coffees.

Then we took our seats , sipping the cold drinks while enjoying the river breeze. We had a little chat before continued to our next sections of the place which will be posted on part 3.

Gracias!
