Royal Floria Putrajaya 2015 Part 2

Part 1 is here.

After we had our lunch we took a stroll around the area. We decided to go Chinese Theme plant decoration first. This was the map for us to discover.

The Chinese Theme Park was a bit far behind near the river. However, we didn't bother walking a bit as we enjoyed the beautiful view and the bridge as for the background.

Found a smaller photo booth and took a lot of  we-fie here and there.

This was the main entrance of the Chinese Theme Park. We had to take turns for pictures as there were many people took pictures too.

However there was not much for us to discover as the place was so small and not much variations of plants planted there. There was a small pond that consist of cute small goldfish that added the landscape of the park. Tried to snap it but pictures don't do much justice.

As I told earlier the weather was very hot but we were lucky that the place was only minor crowded compared to the late evening. Hence we took a rest under this kind of bamboo trees I think.

After we had done, we were thirsty and went for coffee break near the river. There were many seats for us to choose.

We bought our drink at this KopieSatu Truck.

We ordered iced coffees which were so sweet to our liking. I think blended coffees would taste better than the regular iced coffees.

Then we took our seats , sipping the cold drinks while enjoying the river breeze. We had a little chat before continued to our next sections of the place which will be posted on part 3.

Gracias!

Royal Floria Putrajaya 2015 Part 1

Hi. Let's be honest I'm not a big fan of flowers but I like pretty things and that include flowers. That's a big difference there okay lol. I have so many pictures and it will be a long post. Hence I decided to split it.

I went with my sisters , Nina and Cella on 5th June 2015. We planned to go there in the morning but..well it didn't happen so we got there in afternoon. It was blazing hot. There were so many parking space might be people prefer to come in evening where the weather would be bearable. Free parking and the entrance fee is RM5 per adult and RM3 per child.

We quickly went indoor to cool off a bit even though we only had been there for about 10 - 20 minutes.

We walked around to discover the small shops that sold pretty unique stuffs.

This was my favorite booth. It sold beautiful and fairy lights decoration.

Perfect to personalize the room decorations to make it more romantic for the nights. After that we went outside to explore more plants that are sold with really cheap prices!

I don't know what kind of flower is this but the white one is so pretty!

Then we got hungry and discovered fast food trucks which were so perfect and the background view was amazing.

We ended up eating pizza for lunch. I don't know why I ordered hot mushroom soup while the weather was crazy hot. Well..I finished it anyway.

That's all for now. I'll continue the next part soon! Happy fasting month to all muslims!

Saga Hill Hike

Hi guys! So late last month my KL Fit Challenge Coaches decided to make outdoor work out. We were allowed to invite family and friends so I brought Nina along. We gathered around 8 am at the club before heading there together since most of us didn't know the way to Saga Hill. We were so excited since it was our first hike in our twenties LOL.

One thing I didn't like was lack of parking space. One was because we got there a bit late than we should and it was weekend.

There were no toilets provided therefore you need to be prepared. There was a small stall which sold bananas and other fruits as well to boost up your energy before you start hiking. I didn't snapped any picture on the way up as I was worried I would tripped and smashed down the camera.

It was raining slightly after about 15 minutes of hiking hence we needed to be careful with our steps. Luckily it stopped after 5 minutes or so and we could see beautiful little mushrooms started to blossom after the rain.

The route was fine at first but it got harder and harder with so many high steps but I still could bear with it. Nina was so exhausted and wanted to throw up. Might be due to her lack of exercise and breakfast. I was afraid that she wanted to give up. I kept telling her she could do it and didn't want to miss the chance to see the top view. I was proud she made it then!

We were so relieved and happy to make it to the top even though we were only welcomed with just a sign board LOL.

Pictures of people who made it to the top! We called it board of achievement.

Can I just lay down and appreciate a little moment of good day after rain?

A little corner for resting.

We only could peeped the stunning view through the trees but too bad the picture don't do any justice.

These were the coaches who were responsible of our exhausted morning. Coach Kevin and his wife Coach Jamie.

We stayed at the top for 20 minutes and later headed down. We decided to take another route which was steeper to challenge ourselves.

Managed to finish it in just twenty minutes. Yeay!

Took some pictures while waiting for others.

Thank you for all the crews in making the hike more fun and exciting. We were sweating like crazy and it was a very good work out. For those who are looking for a hike on weekend I would suggest for you to come here as the route is moderate for the starters. The routes are easy making the chances of getting lost are very low. You will always find another hikers on the way up and down and most of them are very friendly and encouraging. Give it a try!

Pulau Ketam Steamboat

How's your public holiday so far? It is a good day to just wake up and see the sunshine peeping in through the window offering you a great day ahead. And for me finally I can write a blog post!

What do you like to do when you have free time? I like to spend with my sister and haunting food that is under our budget.

So about last month we were so craving for seafood steamboat. But most of them are quiet pricey per head. Later we decided to try Pulau Ketam Steamboat which is situated in KL Festival.

The entrance is very small and a bit hidden but fear not, when you enter it you will find out it is very large inside.

The interior is very simple and with bright orange chairs to spice up the area.

We decided to dine outside because the weather was so good and windy which was perfect for us to have late lunch together.

The outside area is facing to a lake which added points why we decided to sit there.

The waitress was very friendly and helpful in helping us to choose the meal set. Later we wanted to try Double Combo Value Set which is offered for two people.

My sister chose Chicken Soup and mine was Tom Yam Soup. I have to say the Tom Yam soup was delicious and almost exactly like we were in Thailand. However, my sister said the Chicken Soup was a bit just okay but can be spiced up with the condiments and it would make it tastes tastier.

As you can see I almost finish the whole fried onions. I love to put it in my soup and tasted the crunchy of it.

However the real presentation of the meal was not as good as in picture but everything were there.

Here are us enjoying every sip of it.

If you guys have big appetite I recommend you to pick the meal set for 3 or 4 because the meal set for two was not enough.

But I came back again alone to have my lunch since Nina couldn't make it due to class.I ordered the Mussels Value set for 1 person which is RM29.80.

(The picture was taken with my phone so sorry for the quality)

This set was more than enough for me. The mussels were chew-able and I don't know why they tasted like fish lol. I left with happy tummy and was satisfied.

So I'm going to rate this 3.5 out of 5 star. It's a great place to eat steamboat if you are under budget and worth it as well.

Mucho Gracias!

Boat Noodle Jaya One

Sometimes life throws bad things to people. It happened to me in my studying. I did not performed well in my last exam. However I managed to pass all the papers but it upsets me still. This was because I did not had my manual/text book to study as it was out of stock. I paid for it but I got nothing. Moved on and I just took the exam.

This new semester in order to avoid the manual books to be out of stock , I went to collect them early with my sister. I decided to be grateful that I got my book and would perform well in the future. So Nina and I wanted to indulge ourselves with good food to eat for my fresh start. We decided to eat at the Boat Noodles. Luckily, it was not far from my college.

It is situated at The School Jaya One. I love this place. It got so many cafes and restaurants that offer so many good food for you or it would be a good place to just hang out with friends and sips of coffees.

We love Thai food so much because we are grown with it. And we love street food too! Hence, we could not ask for more when we had our early dinner there.

The exterior was simple and with a bit touch of Thai floating street.

The decoration inside of the place was simple too , with small tables and chairs. Made us felt like we were really at the street lol.

We were seated at the number 18 table. I loved the strip colours, made it looked unique to me.

However, the menu is not extensive. It only offers a few types but they were enough for us at that time. Plus the noodles are only RM1.90 each!

There are two types of noodles soup , Ayutthaya and Pathumthani. Ayutthaya soup is a bit greenish in colour while Pathumthani is more dark brown.

The condiments – reminiscent of Thailand’s restaurants.

We knew these were not a healthy choice but we had coke for our drinks.

Full picture of our first round.

Sadly I do not eat beef because of some issues while Nina loves beef! So we both ordered different menus.  I had Grill Chicken Meat Ball and I loved it so much. Weirdly, it is more pricey than the noodles lol. RM4.90 per bowl.

Nina had Grill Beef Meat Ball for RM5.90 and she said it was good.

So these are the main dishes. RM1.90 each.

Ayutthaya Chicken Thai Rice Noodles.

 Pathumthani Chicken Thai Rice Noodles.

Ayutthaya Beef Thai Rice Noodles.

 Pathumthani Beef Thai Rice Noodles.

A candid picture of me took by Nina while I was eating.

We both agreed that we prefered Pathumthani soup because it was tastier for us. And Nina told me that these soups would tasted better with beef. So I recommend you guys to choose beef over chicken. Unless you are not a beef eater like me lol. We rate this to be 4/5 because of the delicious food and friendly service!

And we were ready for our second round!
