Fit Malaysia 2014

Hi guys! I know it's a late update but with works & study & moving to a new house, it's hard for me to steal the time to blog. So sorry bout that. On early of September my sister & I went to a fitness program held at Dataran Merdeka. We decided to wake up early but well it's hard to wake up early especially on weekends. Who does that anyway? LOL.

We went there by LRT and stopped at Masjid Jamek. It was 10mins of walking distance from LRT Masjid Jamek to Dataran Merdeka.

It got so many programs that we could join but since Nina & I love Zumba so much, we decided to go for it.

We were very lucky because the day was great & we got the chance to meet new people with different backgrounds.

Everyone seemed to have a great time there and to my surprise the place was rubbish free. Everyone were acting very good by throwing the rubbish in the dustbins that were provided by the organizer.

One of the best reason we joined this program was because everything were free! We got free Revive Isotonic drink , mineral water and food for free.

Later after we were done with Zumba, we met a few of students who were doing interviews for their school projects. So here's the picture of Nina being interviewed by them. Both of them are Lim Kok Wing students & they were very nice!

The place got so much things going on at the same time. There was a group of musician playing their drums & everything. We watched it for a few minutes & enjoyed the music & it was fun!

Picture of Nina trying to capture the nice view of sky.

After 4 hours, we were very hungry. So Nina & me went for our lunch & later we headed home because we were both very exhausted.
The best part of this day was, I got to spend with Nina for our sisters bonding and had a lot fun. It was a great day & I'm blessed!

Thanks!

New house Smaller Room

 Hey everyone!

Gosh it seems like ages since I posted the last post! Life is like hectic lately for me with work and study. I'm still on my exam week and will be taking my next paper on this coming 21st August while struggling to pay for college. I have decided not to take any loan for college but so far it has been pretty good.

My family and I will be moving to a new house by the end of this month which I'm so excited about. But the only bit 'thumbs down' is I will be getting smaller room and my sisters will get bigger room. The reason why they get the bigger one is because they share it together and I, well don't like to share haha. So I'm gonna make the best of it!

I want my room to be cozy because I love it when it's raining with hot chocolate and books on my bed. It's a very perfect moment for me and I do enjoy my own company. I want my wall room to be painted with soft color and I'm thinking mint green will be great. And the best part of room decoration is the lights!

These flowery lights are so pretty and rise up the feminine side of every lady. Where can I find these?

Look at those lights ! It's romantic and dreamy.

Since my room is small so I need to switch to single bed and I'm starting to save my money so I can buy a new one. I'm surveying where I can get cheap single bed and if you guys know where I can find it except on Ikea , please share.

This picture gives great inspiration for me to decorate my room with lights on the top of the bed and plus with scented lights. Perfecto!

Thanks for reading!

Shy and afraid

Hi everyone. How’s your weekend? Today is the 11th day of 2014 so I think it’s not too late for me to wish you guys HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Of course, when it comes to a new start everyone has their own resolutions. I wanted to blog about my new resolutions too but we all know that sooner or later they will be thrown out from the windows.  But I’m not saying you can’t have your resolutions but consistence is the key which of course it’s not easy to be done.
As I look through my 2013, it was pretty awesome for me. I wanted to list one by one of them but I’ll bore you guys.  But last week I realized that 2013 had taught me one of the most important things in life.
Some might don’t know that I was really-really a shy person and afraid. Blame it on my old lifestyle but as I grow older, it gets better but I’m still afraid when I go to new place, new zone or new person that I just randomly meet.

It happened when I went to a shop and wanted to ask about how I can use my membership card somewhere else. But I was too afraid that I will embarrass myself in front bunch people that will think I was such a lame person. So I ended up just “never mind I’ll google it at home” and then I forgot about it.
It happened again and again whenever I went to a new zone. Like in a hotel when I wanted to drink cappuccino but I didn’t know how to use the machine and there were like 7-8 person standing nearby there enjoying the morning coffee drink.  And again I failed myself by saying “never mind” instead of just ask one of them how I can use the machine.

I went home and I was frustrated with myself. Later I got a job and many foreigners from Australia, USA, Indonesia, Yemen and more work there too. They are very friendly and whenever we were in the same lift they will ask “how are you, how’s your day” and such. And one thing I realized was they are not afraid to ask question even though it’s the silliest question ever. It’s a new place, new zone, new people but they are not afraid to smile and ask me any random questions.

And now I can proudly say that I’m not the old me anymore. Whenever  I feel afraid and shy I keep telling myself that to always speak my mind, be confident, don’t afraid to be wrong because everyone did it also and they can think whatever they want because I’m helping myself to be better me.

Thank you for reading. XOXO.

Hot Topic : Food!

YES! There's got to be reason why I am who I am today. I'm talking about my weight guys. LOL. I've decided to post about this topic because well, first everyone loves food. Second there are so many food pictures in my phone gallery (so sorry of the pictures' quality) because (call me mental illness whatever) I like to snap picture of my meals. It's nothing personal, I'm just having the moment when the food is served. And I wanna share some of my favorite food that I'd tried.

I like western food and seafood so warning for those who don't like it.

SUNGAI CONGKAK

It happened when my family and I went to Sungai Congkak for school project. Woke up in the morning feeling hungry, we went to the nearest stall in search for breakfast. We thought we would have Nasi Lemak or else. But to our surprised, that place only serve burgers and Roti John and Maggie goreng only. Without any choices we ordered burgers and Roti John. The food was fine. The bread was bit crunchy and soft and we can request for extra sauce. Eventhough the food was just fine but the owner was friendly and nice. So yeay for that. Too bad I can't remember the name of the stall. But it's situated at the top and end of the road of Sg. Congkak.

I'll rate this food 3/5!

OLD TOWN

For those who had followed me on Facebook and Instagram would have known that I eat this a lot! OMGosh it's the best Curry Mee in the world! I like this very much. The curry was well balanced and not too spicy. My sister also love this Curry Mee too. And the chicken was so delicious. I guess it must be the honey that make it tasted so good? I don't know. I'm not good in figuring this things out. But when you order for the lunch set the curry is lesser than the normal price. Have no fear, it's still tasted the same!

I usually eat it with Pepsi float for my drink to make it tastier. So I'll rate this 5/5 !

PENANG NYONYA

It was when me and my boyfriend were going to watch movie but we reached there early. So we decided to dine first. We were in between to choose Chicken Rice Shop or Penang Nyonya. He asked me and I chose Penang Nyonya for no reason actually. LOL. I ordered one set for one person which had Nasi Lemak & Ice Kacang & ice tea for drink.

I'm not a big fan of ice kacang so I gave it to him and he said it tasted good. Then I decided to give it a try. It was good but still not a big fan of ice kacang anyway.

Whenever I went for a restaurant which served Nasi Lemak, I will definitely try it. Because Nasi Lemak is my favourite food besides seafood and western food. The serving was "oh my god I can't wait to eat it" but it was so so only. Not too bad not too good. We wished we had chosen Chicken Rice Shop instead of this one. I'll rate this 2/5!

FISH MANHATTAN

I just had my convocation last month so we need to return the jubah and topi back after that. So after we had sent them we went to Setia Alam City Mall. I was so hungry( like always) so he decided to eat at the Fish Manhattan. I was beyond happy to hear that of course lol. We had same mind when we ordered same color drinks.

The left one is Gummy Bear which was blue at first and when he stirred it a bit it turned out green. And mine is Blue Lagoon. His drink tasted unique and yummy and mine tasted just a regular float. Why I always make bad decision? -.-'

He ordered Grilled Gala Platter for our lunch. It was delicious! Seafood & western? Great combo! This picture makes me hungry again. How I wish this one is in front of me right now -.-' . But it's very pricey in Malaysia. It had cost us RM82++ for just two drinks and this. So I decide to have it for celebration only.

I'll rate this 5/5 !

MOHD CHAN RESTAURANT

We always wanted to try to eat here but we didn't have much time to go there. But later we finally got to go there and ate! He likes seafood too. So we ordered Dry Spicy Lala , Ketam Sos Special , Baby Kailan Masak Sos Tiram and one plate of rice. The food was insanely delicious especially the crab one!! I really recommend for you guys to come here and check it out yourself!

We only ordered one plate of rice because I was a lil' bit full. But I finished them all anyway lol. We are planning to come here next time when we have the time to eat together.

I'll definitely rate this one 5/5! Thank you for reading. Xoxo.

Ins & Outs : Hectic

Before I continue with my post, I want to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all muslim around the world. I just had yummy nasi impit and kuah kacang plus ayam goreng when I typed this cooked by my beloved grandma for my early dinner. Anyway, my life have been a bit hectic lately and with this kind of routine I’ve to scarify my time with family and friends. But I’m starting to love this kind of living style lately. Let me list my ins and outs:

Ins

Study
Like what I’ve tweeted on Twitter, I’ve continued my study at OUM. I’m so excited to finally can take my favorite course and I love the new environment there. I get to know new people with different backgrounds and age. At first I thought our age gap is not too far because they look so young. Later I knew I was the youngest among them! One of them is as old as my mama. Oh my gosh so awet muda. I feel old because I look older than my age T-T

Job Interview.
I went for job interview yesterday and my sister wanted to accompany me. So she had helped to overcome my nervous eventhough I didn’t feel so nervous at all but a tiny bit only. The interview was great but the terms are worrying me. After I’d done with it, I realized that I like to meet new people which was why I overcome my nervous very well. This had taught me to be calm in handling tough and difficult situations. Glad I’d made it.

Pet
My uncle bought a cute little hamster about 3 weeks ago. It’s name is Boy but I don’t like it so I call it Grey ( Christian Grey, get it?LOL) . I’m so excited to finally have a pet cause I never had pet before! So whenever I’m around I’ll take care of it or else my uncle will. It’s so cute and tame. It doesn’t bite whenever I touch him . Love it!

BBQ
We had barbeque with close family and friends the night before raya which means on Monday night. Nothing big but a little thing that make me happy with life. I love to be surrounded by family and friends.

Outs.

Assignments
I still can’t get use to be a part time student. Yeay for not many classes but hell no for blend learning. Learning online is so boring for me. Plus no lectures to ask face to face whenever I want. Of course I can email them but I still prefer face to face learning. And now I’m having problem with my credit transfer. I just had my first class a week ago and the assignments’ dateline is so soon. Like OMGosh! I still don’t know what I’ve learnt! Sobs sobs..

Job
Since I’m pursuing my study I need money for my college. So I need to find job after I’ve settled a few things more. I’m not good in multi-tasking. So I’m a bit worried if I can study and work at the same time. Maybe it’s time to challenge myself?

Vacation
Lately , I’ve been busy going and back from KL-Banting-KL. I miss my free time with my sister and mama. Plus with so much work to be done in shortest time, I really need a vacation. I mean just a short getaway will be fine for me. Hopefully I’ll have that time soon!

Since I update most on Instagram so here's mine @rai901. XOXO !

Iftar Part Two

It was one week before first Syawal . So this time we went to Impian Morib to break our fast before everyone were starting to busy themselves with Aidilfitri decorations. Me and my boyfriend went a bit late as we went with different car. So when I reached there , his family were already gathering and waiting for breaking time.

Since we were like twelve people all together , we had to sit on different table. The place was nice with minimum decorations. And the place was less crowded compared to the last one , might be some like to berbuka puasa with their families on their last week of fasting.

A little details on the table while we were waiting for food.

Since it was a buffet so it was self-serviced .We were served Masakan Melayu for our iftar. I was a bit confused which one should I picked first because it got so many choices and tasty!

My favourite part of the meal was Roti Goreng with sauce . It was so yummy but too bad I was fulled and could only finished two three slices only.

The stuffs were very nice to us when we asked for less sugar drink since the one they had served was too sweet for us. Thank you for having me once again for iftar with your family. I had a good time and most importantly my tummy was so happy about it.

p/s : I will be pursuing my study soon so I was a bit excited for it. Plus I can't wait to meet my new classmates and coursemates!

Thank you for reading. Till we meet again in the next post. Bye !

Iftar Part One

Hey guys! Sorry for taking such a long time to write another post. No I'm not totally busy. I was just not in the mood to start writing. As I'm typing this I'm babysitting my brother because of some problems. Anyway , I've decided to post about my fasting month which was two month ago. My boyfriend decided to break our fast at Hotel Concorde KLIA. So we reached there about 7.15pm and checked in for reservation.

The best part of this entry is the food! Oh my gosh ! The food there was so delicious! Might be because I was so hungry but trust me the food was amazing lol.

It got varieties of food. From Masakan Melayu to western and Japanese.Of course I would had rice first before indulged in other food.

This is one of his twin sister and his grandma waiting for our break fast time. The place was not too crowded and everyone was having great time with their families and friends.

After I had done with my first meal , I went for dessert and decided to choose this oreo cake instead of strawberry one. I was glad I had made a right choice because I don't fancy cakes or cupcakes because they are too sweet for me but this one was just nice! I love it. Not too sweet and delicious too.

Later , I wanted to eat sushi and satay but too bad I was so full. I only managed to eat mushroom soup and some fruits. After we had done and performed our prayer we went home and I was coughing and my throat felt so itchy. Might be due to the water served there. But everything went good . So thank you for having me to break our fast together and I really enjoyed it there. Bye !

p/s : I only used my phone camera to capture those so sorry for low quality pictures!
